I think it should have a (at leased little) mall, a little indoor playground for kids, and (mabye) an indoor pool.

I believe that the options are crazy in terms of space and future expansion oppurtunities. I wrote a comment under another entry showing my chosen location- northern Melville. I also think that rushing the plan to the end of June is utterly wrong. A little more needs to be done Melville!

I think it should include a rink, mini-mall, swimming pool, soccer field, badminton court/tennis court, curling rink, and a canteen.

The new multiplex should include a small shop for things like snacks, drinks, and small toys for the younger children. It should aslo include larger seats for people to watch games. Also, I think it should have a small pool, and a small, indoor playground for small children to play in durring long games.

I think the the new arena should include a indoor baseball feild so there is no bugs bugging us and so it will be warmer, an indoor pool so we can swim in Melville all year round.
I think there should be a mall with some good clothes stores,(Garage, Stitches etc.)and just some good stores so we dont have to go to Yorkton or farther to go shopping.
Melville needs a MALL!!

I think the rink should include a coffee shope and a store to eat in when you are at the rink. I think they should put a smaller rink to practice in,a curling rink, and some other things like that. They should add some places to shop and buy things.

Saying more about what I was going at before, I also agree with chad. I DO think it should have all of that stuff, plus a track oval, computer station, and maybe a baseball diamomd! Also an arcade,a meeting hall, and, what the heck, a classroom! I don't know how much room this will take, or how much labour it will cost, but it will be worth it!

The new rink should inculed a hockey rink. Maybe a pool like the rink in Yorkton. It would be nice if there was a big baseball field. I would love a little mall. Maybe a playground for kids under 8 years old. A art center and a hall for meetings. Maybe a dance room for the dancers. A canteen and a blue room would be nice for after a long hockey games or after you just swam for a few hours.

I think that the new multiplex should include a inside baseball field so that if it rains baseball people can play inside instead of canceling the game. I also think it should have a swimming pool or a wave pool.I think it should at least have a mall for if you don't want to go swimming or anything you can go shopping. I think it should have lots of little food places so if your hungry you can go buy some food. That's what I think should be in the new multiplex.

I think it should include a tennis court inside for rainy days a lacrosse court and also they should include a mall to shop a canteen and a hockey school indoor and outdoor.

I think they are all good ideas that was in the Melville Advance. A indoor pool, mall, playground, rink, canteen, fields, and courts. It's all fascinating. All great but why can't they just put it up!

I think that the Complex should have a indoor pool so that we can swim all year long instead of just in the summer. It should have to rinks one to play the games and a smaller one for the little kids. It should have food court and a coffe shop for people to go and vist and have a cup of coffee. It should have a hall for the councel to have meetings. It should have a curling rink and a mall to.

I am curious to know what you mean by a mini mall. Many of you have commented on including a mall. How would this work? How big would it be? Do you really think Melville could handle a mall? What kind of stores would be feasible in a community of our size? I like Leah Well's idea gearing the shopping towards small children. I also like the ideas of a play area for small children that many of you have mentioned.

Many of you have commented on a lacrosse surface and a soccer surface as ideal additions to the multiplex. I agree with you as I think that is a natural transition for when the ice is not in the rink. However, many of you have commented on including a swimming pool in the multiplex. Because Melville is smaller than Yorkton, we likely couldn't afford the kind of pool Yorkton has, thus if we got an indoor pool it may not be as nice or luxurious. Because of this swimmers may opt for the Yorkton pool because it is "bigger" and "nicer." So, is it really a good idea to have a pool in the Melville Multiplex? Could our money not be spent in a better way? Does it make sense to have two fantastic indoor pools so close together?
